China returnee admitted at Seti Provincial Hospital
Dhangadhi, March 13
A permanent resident of Dhangadhi who had recently returned from China has been admitted in Seti Provincial Hospital on Thursday. "The person has been admitted in the isolation ward of the hospital after the youth visited the hospital with fever, respiratory illness and chest pain," said Dr Jagadish Prasad Joshi of Seti Provincial Hospital.
As the person has returned from China it is suspected that he has contracted coronavirus.. His specimens have been collected and arrangements have been made to send them to National Public Health Laboratory in Kathmandu.
Earlier four coronavirus suspected patients were admitted in the hospital. They were later discharged after their results tested negative.
