441 suspected of coronavirus in Nepal
Kathmandu, March 9
From among the 441 samples tested in Nepal all of them have been tested negative according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
In a press statement issued by the ministry of Sunday despite a person who returned from Wuhan on Januray 24 who tested positive of coronavirus infection none of the persons have been tested positive of coronavirus since then.
Though the COVID-19 infection has not been seen in Nepal lately the World Health Organisation has kept Nepal in a high risk zone. The ministry therefore has recommended all to become aware and remain alert.
The ministry also said that an additional manpower and equipments have been used in the Tribhuvan International Airport and disinfectant has been sprayed regularly in the airport to prevent infection spread.
