Various media have reported that 12 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in England. This is the biggest jump in coronavirus cases the United Kingdom has seen in a single day.

According to media reports three of the patients caught the coronavirs in the UK from closer contact with someone who already had it. The cause for the contraction of the virus has not yet been known in another patient from Essex. Meanwhile eight persons had caught the virus abroad. Six persons had a travel history to Italy and two had visited Iran.
