No on arrival visa for foreigners from March 7, government decides

With the spread of the COVID-19 known as coronavirus Nepal government has decided not to give on arrival visas to the foreigners coming to Nepal from March 7 onwards. A meeting held in Prime Minister's residence in Baluwatar today has made the decision. The government has also withdrawn VIsit Nepal Year 2020 in view of the virus spread. The government yesterday had formed a high committee to prevent spread of the coronavirus in the country. The decision has been made immediately after the committee was formed yesterday. The meeting has also decided to make it mandatory to present health certificate for those who have taken Nepal's visa.
