PM Oli to undergo second kidney trasnplantation on Wednesday
Kathmandu, March 1
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will undergo a second kidney trasnplant at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital on Wednesday. PM Oli had informed about the transplantation during a secretariat meeting of Nepal Communist Party today. PM Oli will be admitted in the hospital on Monday.
Oli aged 67 had undergone a kidney trasnplantation in India in 2007 after both of his kidneys failed to function. He has regularly undergone routine health check-up in foreign countries.
PM Oli in 2019 had undergone plasmapheresis in Singapore-based National University Hospital. He was admitted to the Singapore-based hospital in 2014 as well and was treated for an infectious swelling in his right hand. He had also undergone health check-up at Bumrungrad International Hospital in Bangkok.
