Kathmandu, January 14

Medical Education Council Vice-Chair Dr Shree Krishna Giri today filed a case against Durga Prasai, executive director of proposed B&C Medical College at Kathmandu District Court.

Dr Giri has filed a defamation case in the court and has demanded compensation and punishment.

Dr Giri earlier had condemned the allegations made by Prasai, against him for demanding Rs 20 crore to grant affiliation to the medical college conducting a press meet in the Capital after a few hours of press conference by Prasai, Dr Giri challenged Prasai to prove his allegations.
