MD/MS and MBBS programmes will be started in Karnali Academy of Health Sciences. A senate meeting has also made other 11 decisions for the institution.

A meeting held under the chairmanship of Academy's Chancellor Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has passed the decision to run MDGP orthopaedics, gynaecology, paediatrics in its MD/MS programmes. Similarly it has also decided to run epidemiology, pharmacy in its master's programme.

Similarly Dr Ganesh Gurung has been appointed as the Chair for Academy Selection Committe. The meeting has decided to appoint Dr Tarun Paudel as the member. Registrar Bishwaraj Kafle is the member secretary of the committee.
