Trauma celebrates sixth anniversary

National Trauma Centre celebrated its sixth anniversary amidst an event organized in the Capital today.
The speakers in the event shed light on the achievements made by the hospital in the last six years.
The hospital has been providing treatment services for patients suffering from kinds of injuries such as head injuries, neck injuries, knee and elbow, among other kinds of injuries after it started its service.
The chief guest for the event Minister of Health and Population Bhanubhakta Dhakal gracing the event said that the irregularities in the health sector will be ended soon. Pointing to the anomalies in the health sector and in hospitals minister Dhakal said that the government hospitals should deliver quality services and should assure people of their medical services.
He said that he has been hearing complaints regarding the differences in medical services in hospitals across the country. “There should be uniformity in the medical services provided by the health practitioners,” Minister Dhakal said.
According to the hospital a total of 79,239 patients have visited the outdoor patient department while 18,263 people had come to the hospital’s emergency.
